Let's Get Working!!!

This past month, I have submitted several applications, many of which I have worked on for years. The most important ones were the college application, a financial aid program, and a science competition!! After submitting each one I felt like there was deep breath, a deep restful breath. I realized that once I clicked submit, that my fate was sealed. I have done my part, now it was up to other minds to decide my life's course.
However is everything really predestined? i believe in ancient time, this idea of predestination, was a dominant force in everyone's lives. They lived and died with the this continuity. Of course I am not referring to the heroes or rebels of the past ages, who deviated from their orthodox societies.
As a girl who has from a young age entered into a world of education and science and the performing arts and writing, I believe that I should not reinforce in my mind, the idea that my fate is sealed. In fact, once I click the submit button, it does not signal the end to my journey. Just as Bilbo Baggins continued till the end of his days to write and learn more about Middle Earth, so will I continue to explore other options, and more things to learn about!

Sometimes I feel sad and almost feel like I didn't accomplish anything. I just hope that everything works out for me.
"I've probably earned the right to screw up a few times. I don't want the fear of failure to stop me from doing what I really care about."- Emma Watson (my fave actress)

This means I need to never give up even when I make mistakes.

PERSEVERANCE
Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high
Where knowledge is free
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments
By narrow domestic walls
Where words come out from the depth of truth
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way
Into the dreary desert sand of dead habit
Where the mind is led forward by thee
Into ever-widening thought and action
Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.

Here is where I start obsessing about Benedict Cumberbatch. he is a British actor who started in the theater roles and which led to various acclaimed roles in movies. He made the BBC Sherlock Holmes series something amazing and something I look forward to for the third season. I CAN'T WAIT!!!! Looks like my post- Potter depression won't take a toll on me. I hope he has further roles in films throughout the years so I could watch him get better and better as an actor. I mean he is great already and dedicated no doubt. But there is more seniority required to land a pivotal role.
My research is continuing and I hope to get more done tomorrow. Really I am feeling tired after a long trip to my favorite university, Yale :)
The interview ent well I guess. i mean I spoke clearly and was myself. I didn't have to lie about anything. I  have gone through three years in Stuyvesant with honesty, never cheated on a test. I know I can work hard for anything I set my heart on.
Okay off to listen to music and then sleep! Tomorrow another attempt at saving the world from poverty and disease!
Till then bye bye!!

Alan Rickman
Alan Rickman is one of my favorite actors. I cannot say much more other than that because...just because. His acting is so superb and so real that it makes my sides feel thorns creeping up.
His acting needs no accompanying music, simply his expression and his deep embrace of the character he is in. That is a true artist, one who is so experienced and so persistent in his efforts to be good at the role he is in. The artist who can hide their true self behind every new mask their character requires is truly versatile.
He will always be best Severus Snape, ther can be no remake of the movie or his role in them.
When Harry kneels down next to him after Snape succumbs to his wounds, the timeless expression of love for Harry makes me want to cry. I want to tell myself it is only a movie, and that these are only people, who are the same flesh and bone. But that is what makes human experiences so special. We were born with a face with which to carry out all of our emotions... but what happened on the screen touched my heart.
That all I have to say about that.

Roadtrip from Yale to Brown or Brown to Yale Whichever Sounds Better

Here are the descriptions provided on the website:

Located in historic Providence, Rhode Island and founded in 1764, Brown University is the seventh-oldest college in the United States. Brown is an independent, coeducational Ivy League institution comprising undergraduate and graduate programs, plus the Alpert Medical School and the School of Engineering.
With its talented and motivated student body and accomplished faculty, Brown is a leading research university that maintains a particular commitment to exceptional undergraduate instruction.

Yale’s roots can be traced back to the 1640s, when colonial clergymen led an effort to establish a college in New Haven to preserve the tradition of European liberal education in the New World. This vision was fulfilled in 1701, when the charter was granted for a school “wherein Youth may be instructed in the Arts and Sciences [and] through the blessing of Almighty God may be fitted for Publick employment both in Church and Civil State.” In 1718 the school was renamed “Yale College” in gratitude to the Welsh merchant Elihu Yale, who had donated the proceeds from the sale of nine bales of goods together with 417 books and a portrait of King George I.

WHICH ONE DO YOU CHOOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dance- It's That Simple to Describe

For me dancing is more than a passion, it a way for me to vent out all my feelings through movements and I thank God for giving me this body to work with. Every hand posture I make every eye movement I make it comes from the soul, which I don't know where it is exactly.

Here is a video of a dance by a famous dance school in India which has inspired me to move on with my dreams, there is no stopping me.

I will dream on, but in order to make those dreams come true, I must be observant, respectful to my peers and family, face reality with resilience, and never let those dreams die.
